As stated in the last page, Peter Parker was bit by a radioactive spider granting him powers. What are these powers? Well, let us just say they are nothing short of amazing I shall proceed to explain them to you. Like the origin, there are many types of powers for all the spiders in the comics. There are even different people who are Spider-Man, such as Miles Morales who has venom shock powers as well. but we will continue to focus on the main Spider-Man. He has the basic powers you would assume from a man called "Spider-Man", but I will dive a little deeper in explaining them to you.
To begin, we shall talk about his enhanced strength. The spider gave him strength proportional to that of a spider. He can lift several tons due to this strength. That's not all he has though. He also has a Spider-sense. this allows him to detect danger, even if there is none. he uses this in battle to warn him of when enemies will get him. He also has enhanced speed and reflexes due to the bite. Many believe he has the power to shoot webs, but he does not. He has to hand-craft his web shooters that allow him to shoot webs and swing around New York.
